I built a new mobile base for the jointer in our shop and it was super easy.

Works as advertised!
After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a little skeptic about this base. Since it was on sale, I thought I would take a chance. I used 3/4” plywood and it works perfectly as advertised! This was for a 14” bandsaw. Now, I’m going back to get one for my planer, while they’re still on sale!

Hate it!
The cam action is so minute, you have to literally set the base leg screws as low as possible so the cam will lift the base leg screws and then use the wheels. If you do that, then forget about the base being close to level. If you try to keep the base close to level, then when you go from 'wheel' mode to leg base mode, the machine won't hardly move and the wheels may be, in fact, still taking some of the weight. Worse, if you engage the wheels and move the machine, the clearance for the leg screws is not enough, they drag on the floor if your concrete is even in the slightest raised, and you end up just lifting half the machine and pushing it around. Did I say I hate this product? Yep!

Junk, poor workmanship. Holes don't line up well enough to put it together. Took it back.

Failed
Bought one of these bases for my Rikon 10-324 on Friday, built it and installed my bandsaw on it on Saturday, it broke on Sunday. The weld where the foot attaches broke, not happy to be forced to move the saw off it to return it.

Excellent!
I ran out of room in my workshop. I put the band saw and lathe table in front of the overhead door. Moving them was a pain. These kits are the perfect solution. Easy to assemble. (I used 3/4” plywood.) Raises unit only about 3/4” off floor. Solid when stationary and very easy to move. These are great!

Plywood mobile base kit
The kit is easy to put together and all of the pieces have been well thought out and easy to install. The one negative I have with the kit is that there is not enough ground clearance.
-
Wheels will not lock
The Wheels will not stay in the locked down position to allow the mobile base to move. Don't waste your money.

Works, solid.
I made a mobile base using this kit for my Jet 1221vs lathe/stand. It works great, is sturdy, and has helped make my tiny shop more user friendly. It goes together easily. I used 3/4 ply and it’s working great.
