Great clamp!
I have had this clamp for somewhere between 30 and 40 years. I love it. I recently stripped 2 of the thumb nuts, after all these years... I called Woodcraft to see if I could purchase 2 of these thumbnuts or would I have to purchase a whole new clamp, which I would have. They are sending me the 2 thumbnuts free of charge! This is a great product and Woodcraft is a great company to do business with!!!!!!

Great product
I'm a woodworker and needed to make several large (3' x 3') frames. This was inexpensive and would handle large frames. It worked like a champ. By carefully tightening the screws, I could insure that each corner mated perfectly. When it was all tight, I checked for squareness and again - perfect. This worked much better than expectations, especially given the price.

Better with design improvements
You have to watch that one or more corners stay flat. They tend to get out of vertical alignment as pressure is applied. Have to be very careful while tightening. I had to sand corners that did not align up and down. An adjustable interior clamp device for each corner would be a gigantic improvement. Another improvement would be a solid triangle under the "L" corners for the frame back to rest on.

Enables Very Tight Clamp
Enables a very tight clamp using a 3/8" wrench. Got here very fast, ordered the clamp and some sandpaper and the shipment arrived in three days.

Miter Clamp Review
I am using this miter for making frames and boxes for cork boards. It is the ideal appliance for ensuring perfect alignment of the corners for gluing. Exquisite simplicity of use. I highly recommend it for any framing application.

simple, yet effective
The product is simple, but does exactly what it says. It gets kinda awkward when you have to connect the rods together. I would buy it again.

Works great. Brings miters together.
Easy to use. I just temporarily clamp with a corner clamp and square the assembled frame to finish while glue sets.
-
Ease of handeling
I make frames for my oil and acrylic paintings. It is accurate and easy to set up The thumb screws are not designed to tighten easily. They need a flat side to grip while tightening

I would buy again
The picture frame miter works great, it holds the ends together great. The only thing I had to buy longer ends for big pictures. The clamps worked great.
