Pfeil Drayer gouges aren’t really gouges at all; they are heavy-duty, double bevel skew chisels that got their name from a teacher at the Brienz Woodcarving School who requested pfeil make them. These tools are intended to be struck with a mallet and are capable of removing large chunks of wood with aplomb. 50mm (1.97") cutting edge. Overall approximate length 11-1/4", with a 4-3/4" blade.
