PFEIL ABEGGLEN LARGE
This tool is perfect for larrge relief carving projects. Great for rounding off edges, developing contour and smoothing surfaces. I'd think the small version would work nicely on smaller projects as well. A little pricey, but you do get two blades...can always rationalizes buying a kool new tool!

Very effective tool
When I first held this tool in my hand I realized that this thing would have been Jack the Rippers go to knife. It is quite wicked, and takes a bit to get used to, but once you mess with it and try new things, you will find it very useful. Just be careful and truly THINK before you start carving. The picture shows the knife at an angle and doesn't accurately depict the curve of the knife. The knife has a much greater curve to it, at least the medium one did.

Glad I bought this excellent tool
Perfect for cleaning up those hard-to-reach recesses in wood sculpture. I will likely purchase all three sizes as the need occurs.

this is a VERY useful knife.
I had been using curved-edged skew chisels, but figured I would give this a try. after some quick honing and stropping, this knife had an amazing edge (Pfeil uses decent steel), and i set off to try it on a variety of woods. From ebony to florida rosewood to makore to zebrawood to even lumber grade southern yellow pine... awesome form, function, and feel. The concave edge is just as useful. For those that dislike V-tools and their many limitations this is also a breath of fresh air. The curved edges (I feel) play beautifully into natural lines of foliage carving - and this knife's simplicity (it's a sharp edge on a stick, basically) lends itself to be limited only by its user's imagination. good stuff.
