Precision Bevel Squares are a joy to hold and use!

We started with a genius design patented in 1890, tweaked it with a few new features and produce it with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and space age materials. The result is a tool you will be proud to own and will love to use. The Precision Bevel Square locks from the end of the handle, rather than with a wing nut at the joint as you’ll find in lesser tools. Not only does this feature (the basis of the 1890 patent) move the clamp out of your way, it’s also far more secure than the standard clamp. Simple fingertip pressure locks the blade solidly. You’ll never worry about bumping it out of adjustment.

We went a step further by adding variable tension to the blade adjustment. If you’re matching an angle on an antique piece or fitting trim in an older home, increase the tension so the blade will hold position as you align it on the corner. Now you can take it away and lock it completely without the blade moving.

The hypotenuse edge is calibrated in one-degree increments for quick and accurate lay out of angled cuts. We dropped in extra lines at 22.5° and 67.5° to make octagonal construction a breeze.

The stainless steel blade of the bevel square has a beautiful satin finish. Stainless steel is also used throughout the internal blade locking mechanism. The handle is milled from a solid aluminum billet and then anodized to give it our familiar “Woodpeckers Red” appearance and outstanding corrosion protection.

Angle Reference Plate, the perfect companion. When you need to transfer an exact angle, our Angle Reference Plate makes it a simple task. On a 3” x 16” x 1/4” aluminum plate, we laser engrave angles from 0° to 30° on one side and 31° to 55° on the other. The angles are calibrated in 1/4° increments, using solid lines for whole degrees, dashed lines for half degrees and dotted lines for quarter degrees. Complementary angles (135° to 45° for example) are also included.

7” & 12” versions to fit your projects. Our 7” Precision Bevel Square is the perfect choice for most joinery layout and machinery set-up applications. For carpentry projects, our larger 12” Precision Bevel Square is just the ticket.

Ordering Options. You’ll save money ordering our Deluxe Set that includes both 7” and 12” Precision Bevel Squares and the handy Angle Reference Plate, or you can order each item individually.

When They’re Gone, There’re Gone! Like all our OneTIME Tools, our Precision Bevel Squares and Angle References Plates are only made to order. Order deadline is Monday, July 23, 2018. Once orders are filled, these tools will be retired from our product line. Order yours today!

Delivery is scheduled for November, 2018. Like all Woodpeckers products, the Precision Bevel Square is manufactured in our Strongsville, Ohio factory, just south of Cleveland. Proudly Made in USA!

What are our OneTIME Tools? They’re the tools that our partners at Woodpeckers plan to run once. Often these are tools we ourselves would like but can’t put in full production. The process is simple; they build a couple, take some pictures and open a 10-20 day window for others to jump on the production run. Once they know how many to make, they get them done and move on to something else.

By buying a OneTIME Tool, you will own a limited run precisely machined tool that will make you the envy of all your woodworking friends, and you have a tool that will be used for generations. These tools are proudly made in the USA.
