Wood with a twist
Of the 4 pieces that I ordered, one had a twist to it. In other words, if you put it on a flat surface and pressed down on the upper right hand corner the lower left hand corner would raise up, and vice versa. It makes it hard to make a square box with that problem in it. At least it was for me. Not a bow, no planing would take that out.

Very nice figuring. Waxed end grain. Solid, no cracks.

Love the colors and grain
I use the wood I purchase to make cutting boards. I use the exotic wood on one side and put an oil base finish on it and use maple on the other side so you can use it to cut on. Dual purposes, a cutting board on one side and a dectorative piece on the other.
