- In order to construct a completed Lever Action Ballpoint Pen, you will also need Lever Action Bushings (#160834), 10 mm Pen Maker's Bit (#149127) and 3/4" x 3/4" x 5" pen turning blank, all sold separately.

No pilot drill needed
No need for 3/8 pilot drill, just use a 25/64 bit and the 10mm tube fits like a glove. The kit goes together easy and is good looking and sells itself well

Really great pen
Read the reviews befor I bought the kit. Ordered 5, and within 24 hours after finish they were all sold. You dont need a 3/8 pilot bit, just use a 25/64 and the tube fits like a glove

I bought 5 of these pens, turned 3 in walnut and 2 in black walnut, within 36 hours I had sold all 5, its a real eye catcher. by the way there is no need for a pilot 3/8 drill, use a 25/64 and the tube fits like a glove

Love this pen
Everyone that has used mine loves it. Easy to turn. Lines up well. Easy to assemble. Wish they were a little cheaper, but if it sells why argue???

Nice unique pen
I like the weight and feel of this pen. It is quite unique for my gun interests and was pretty easy to make. Have had many compliments. I used Thuya Burl which was a nice match for the pen design.

A Pen with Appeal
I just finished my first lever action pen yesterday evening. As one person stated, the 10 MM tube required a 3/8 pilot when facing but the gap didn't create any problems for me. I use a pair of vice jaws that locate the blank on the corners so it is perfectly aligned with my facing tool. There was no wobble at all and the pen turned out perfectly. I will be ordering more kits and my wife already sold one just as soon as one of her coworkers saw it which is the typical reaction to those she works around. I suspect that we will be taking orders quite soon, something I wasn't counting on as I am into these projects for fun, experience and creating something different.

Really Disappointed in the quality of this kit!
This kit is NOT worth the money that you are charging for it. Not only is the pen tube out of size... 10mm tube requires a 3/8" pen mill to square up the ends causing a wobble. The top that screws on to the body of the pen has plastic threads and it is hard to get them tight.

Cool pen
I've just made one so far. Extremely easy to make. If you like a pen with some heft to it you'll like this one. The lever action is unique and has a nice, smooth action. Cool pen.
