The Laguna Bandsaw Light was designed for the Laguna 14|12 Bandsaw (#854323) or the Laguna 110V 14BX Bandsaw (864582) ; however, this high-intensity halogen light can be adapted to just about any metal framed bandsaw on the market. It’s easy to install, and it connects to either of the aforementioned Laguna Bandsaws' 110V outlets.

Bright light; poor design
I went "all the way" when I bought my Laguna 1412 bandsaw by also purchasing the mobility kit and this light. Indeed the light is bright and well sealed. But it mounts on the side of the saw (in pre-drilled holes) and there is no way that I could find to swivel/twist it that it did not throw a SHADOW OF THE BLADE GUIDE & KNOBS right onto the cut line! The knobs for adjusting the upper side blade guides are inevitably in the path of the light because the light comes from the right side/downwards. I finally removed the light and constructed my own new brackets to move the light around from the side to the front of the saw. Now it can be adjusted to shine down right onto the front of the blade at the level of the workpiece which makes it a lot easier than with the factory design to follow pencil lines for cuts.
