    Details

This white oak knife scale blank is made from whiskey barrels once used by the Jack Daniel Distillery. The tradition of making Jack Daniel's® Tennessee whiskey includes a process of aging it in oak barrels that have been charred to give the whiskey a special flavor. The process of aging the whiskey lasts several years, and then many of the barrels are sold and shipped to Scotland to be used again in the production of Scotch whiskey. This authentic whiskey barrel blank still has the charred surface and is a commemoration of one of America’s oldest and finest distilleries.
