The directions could be clearer.
Saw base now is quite mobile.

Good solid base
Good solid base that makes tools easy to move. Would be a little better if all wheels swiveled but works very well.

Works well but takes time for custom fit
The HTC 3000 has more plastic components than an older HTC 2000 that I am still using on my table saw. Hope the plastic components are durable, otherwise, works well.

Good Product - Poor Instructions
I'm using this product as the base for my jointer. You may as well through out the instructions for assembly as they are fairly useless. Fortunately, assembly is intuitive if you do a good job of laying our all of the parts.

Great item. Exactly what I wanted.
Support my planer fantastically. Can now move it around and out of the way in the shop.
-
Incorrect parts
The bushings for the rear wheels didn't fit. Called HTC and they are sending me new wheels and bushings.

-Not too sturdy = will probably return
I just bought a new Jet 14 inch bandsaw and this stand at the local Woodcrafyt store. The stand is weak and flexes a little during use. Very disappointed.

Better Than Before . . . But . . .
This HTC Adjustable Base is better than the last one I purchased (had to add wood runners, so that tells you how long ago), but the quality is going downhill with the use of more and more plastic. My best suggestion is to find a fixed base that is close in size to what you need and use it. Durability remains to be see, although this was used for a scroll saw so I do not anticipate any problems. Okay overall, but the "bean-counters" are really doing a number on quality!

Works Great
Needed a mobile but solid base for a portable planar in a garage workshop; this did the trick. Moving the planar in and out is a breeze now, and it stays put when locked in place. Perhaps over kill, but I got it at a nearly half price sale so I went with this unit. Otherwise, I would have gone with the next model down. Only concern I have is with eventual corrosion of the bolt from the casters so I treated them. Would purchase again.

Nice but flawed
The assembly and over-all strength of the unit is very good. Unfortunately the springs on the front wheels broke almost immediately which meant that the feet do not fully retract when in wheels mode so that they drag along the floor causing problems. If the spring mechanism were reinforced I would rate this as excellent, but this is a serious shortcoming as it is a tip hazard if the dragging feet catch something on the shop floor as the item is moved around.

May Be The Last One That I Buy
Most of my equipment in my home shop is on portable stands. This is my 5th HTC stand and probably will be my last. I've noticed that the quality of their product over the last to stands that I've purchased has gone steadily down hill. In both cases, missing parts, parts that were the wrong size, stripped threads on swivel casters, etc. Calling the distributor only provided an answer that sounds like "we've never had that problem before, can I offer you an electric tool at some ridicuously low close out price". All I really wanted them to do was to send replacement parts and they could keep their cheap close-out tool. Nope, because I had corrected the issues they didn't want to send out new parts. I didn't mind correcting issues but when you pay a pretty high price for an item, you expect it to be worth your investment.

HTC HD Adjustable Mobile Base HTC-3000 b
The product is well made and functional. The manual would be easier to follow if schematics were used.

Excellent Product
Great product, great price. Well thought out design.

Does the Job
Very adjustable for a wide variety of machines.

Works great.
I use for my drillpress. Moves easily and locks down where I need it. I would buy another one if the need arises. Great product and great company to deal with.

I will definately buy this product again
With a garage workshop I need to be able to move my table saw easily from storage to a useable position, this mobile base works perfect. Easy to operate and stable when set up.

WOW
I bought two of these, one for my Jett full cabinet table saw and another for my full size bandsaw. They work extremly well. I can move my equipment around my shop with ease now. Highly, highly recommend...

Poor floor lock design
While the base frame design is more than adequate, the Floor Lock design is flawed. Both return springs which hold the lock/level foot up during a move, failed before the assembly of the base was finished. This results in the leveling/lock floor foot, draging along the floor and turning out of adjustment every time you want to move the equipment. This will almost certainly result in the complete failure of the floor lock foot over time. Also had to grind one of the steel axels in order to fit. No big deal.

Great Mobile Base
I placed it under a large router table/cabinet. It moves the cabinet easily but will stay secure when in routing.

Excellent Package
Plenty of parts and fasteners, and clear instructions made assembly fun. The only drawback is that when it is set down off the casters the tool doesn't sit on the ground but rather it is cradled by the base about 1/2 inch above the floor. This can create more work bringing your other tables up to the same height. And the tool can wobble a little bit since it's not sitting directly on the floor. The orange levers looked cheap at first but have not broken yet. Great parts and decent casters, it's under my table saw.

Very happy with this product
Assembly instructions are wrong. You end up taking apart the unit to add a part later mentioned in the instructions.

Quality Product
Best Mobile base on the market - couldn't resist the great sales price either - saved $70 bucks. Bought two for the price of one.
-
did the job
fulfilled the job requirements perfectly
-
well satisfied with product
This is a good and strudy product. I had two problems with assembly. The manual pictures where to dark for detail. I also had to shorten the wheel sleeves to get them in the housings.
