Made in the USA, the Hold Fast™ Pro Pen Turning Kit is precision machined using double bearing construction for heavy-duty use and long life. That’s right; you can use this system to turn pens. Install the mandrel driver into your lathes headstock. Insert the proper mandrel rod into the mandrel driver. Install the pen collet into the live center body, slide the live center over the mandrel rod to the pen bushings, lock down the tailstock, and tighten the quill. The compression of the collet will lock the mandrel rod in place and allow you to turn accurately every time! No more off-center turnings! Kit contains one each of the following; live center body, pen collet insert, #2MT mandrel driver, precision mandrel rod, standard mandrel rod, and set of nonstick CA finishing bushings. The hollow center design makes it capable of accepting a removable cup center or 60° cone to create an amazing live center. Accessory cones sold separately.
