    Beyond expectations

Aside from the woodriver #4 I have, every plane I own and pick up in the future will get a hock blade and chipbreaker. I originally just got the little one for an old spokeshave I got. Loved it. So I got the set for my #4 stanley. We all know a bigger heavier blade will increase the performance. But you don't know how much until you try it. Night and day. I will always use HOCK blades for every plane I get. Pinnacle probably makes a good product too. But, if you have questions about your HOCK blade, you can actually call Ron himself. The guy who pounds the steel himself. Try and find that in America today! Amazing product made by hand by a true craftsman.

Great replacement blade for CHEAP stock

Bought this blade to replace the junk blade on my Buck Bros. jack plane.(MY first plane)Better quality blade than what came with it.Only had to polish the back and put a micro bevel on edge.WOW what a difference.Everyone should replace those junk blades with Hock blades and see the change in performance in your cheaper made planes. GREAT product
