Japan Woodworker Catalog Features “Go Board”
In this day and age of electronic games, there are still a few games left to play without the aid of technology, but with the use of good old fashioned brain power. Similar to Chess or Checkers/Draughts, “GO” is an attack-capture board strategy game played on a 19″ x 19″ wood grid for two players. This size board is typically used for tournament play. The game originated in China about 2500 years ago using a 17″ x 17″ grid board, but changed as it became more prevalent in Japan and Korea. Beginners usually start with a 9″ x 9″ or 13″ x 13″ board.

Georgian Cherry Gel
Used on an unfinished kitchen bench seat; applied with cheese cloth and foam brush for the corners. Don't let it sit for more than 1-2 minutes after applying; dries very quickly. Wipes off easily with cotton terry towels. Deep red coloring; applied over parawood ("rubber tree".)

Great color, easy application & clean up
Stained a butcher block countertop. Forgot to use a wood pre-conditioner but it turned out gorgeous all the same. The color is intensly dark red--one coat was more then enough. Just have to work it fast and not double up or you get areas where its darker then others--but that's user inexperience. I love that its a gel and clean up is simple and it doesn't drip all over![...] Really happy with the result.
