California Dreamin’ with Jory Brigham
If you haven’t heard of woodworker Jory Brigham, don’t worry – you will. The California free-spirited family man designs and handcrafts unique furniture using mostly domestic hardwoods and time-honored techniques in his Paso Robles studio, overlooking the vineyards in wine country. His look is rugged, earthy and retro – much like the furniture he creates.

Excellent Finish
This is hands down the water-based topcoat I have used. Very low odor, it can be brushed or sprayed with ease, and it levels beautifully. Dry time is fast and once cured this finish is very hard. This product has saved me time and produces outstanding results. I am a huge fan of every General Finishes product I have used so far.

Called General Finishes....
I was considering other finishes, GF's Pre-Cat, Target Coatings, etc. I wanted something I could brush on or spray, but still meet KCMA standards for cabinets. I called General Finishes, and somebody picked up the phone and said Hi. Nice! So I asked. He said, that hands down, Enduro-Var was their best. They did their own KCMA-style testing and it passed with flying colors. At the time, they hadn't paid for the KCMA certification though. Apparently it costs in the tens of thousands to get the KCMA cert.
