Doesn't Last
I have had this for about 3 years and only used it occasionally. Also, I always stored it with the battery out. When it worked I was happy with it. Unfortunately, despite taking good care of it, the screen no longer works. The zero will display if it is reset, but as soon as the jaws move the screen goes blank. I've tried new batteries and checked the battery voltage on a multi meter. That isn't the problem. Too bad, I would not recommend these.

Perfect! It doesn't get any better
Checking small fuel line hose sizes for weed eaters. They have so many different sizes it will drive you nuts. This takes all the guess work out of it. Easy to check both inside & outside diameters to get the right fit the first time. Love it!

Works well
Very useful caliper as it measures in fractions and mm. Seems to be accurate, easy to use and the digital display is much easier to read than vernier or dial reading.

Great Tool
This is a great tool. It is accurate, easy to read and provides a digital readout in mm or fractions. The digital readout is much easier and more accurate than trying to read a vernier scale or dial. It comes with an extra battery, just be sure to turn it off when done using it.

Another product I have bought twice
I can't get enough good digital calipers with my spindle work and love these fractional ones. The only thing that could be better would be if Woodcraft could get manufacturer to put a plastic contact prevent slip on the installed battery you pull out on first use. With shipping and handling the battery in the unit is very, very short lived. They do put a spare in but count on only one battery with the unit due to the one in the unit being nearly dead or dead on arrival. Otherwise these are great calipers.

AN EXCELLENT MEASURING DEVICE FOR EITHER INSIDE OR OUTSIDE DEMINISONS ON BOTH METAL WORKING AND WOODWORKING JOBS. CONVERTS FROM DECIMAL, TO FRACTIONAL, TO METRIC WITH THE PUSH OF A BUTTON. VERY REASONABLY PRICED AND COMES WITH A PROTECTIVE CASE.

I compared measurements using this digital caliper, against a manual caliper, and both devices showed the same measurement. I'm very pleased with this caliper.
