      Dissappointed

I was very excited when this came along. Reasonably priced. Great feel and plenty of power. However, on recommendation of the salesperson, I also bought the granite paper for this unit. Almost immediately the paper would wad up and come off and quickly wore out the pad. All I was sanding was some cutting boards I made for Christmas presents. I contacted Festool and they did send me another. However, it did the same thing. I believe the problem to be the pads not the sander but it is still disappointing. Did they not test these abrasives before putting them on the market. I’m calling festool again today and see if they will again replace my pad on a sander not 6 months old. Thankfully I still had my 12 year old Dewalt to finish my projects.

      ETS 125

As a weekend warrior working to improve my skills I've used several different sanders. The Festool 125 along with Festools portable vac system is fantastic. Great Hand feel, plenty of power and no swirl marks! Yes, it's expensive compared to other brands, but if you use a sander on a regular basis it's worth it to check this one out.
