You’ll see intricate designs emerge as these are turned – swirls, chevrons, arches and stripes. Assorted pack of four includes one each: Cocobolo, Zebrawood, Burmese Rosewood and Burmese Blackwood. We have carefully and selectively cut a small quantity of 3/4" x 3/4" x 5" pen blanks from some of the most exciting wood species that we have ever seen. Expensive yes, but the results will be worth it. Premium exotic species are selected for color and prominent grain and then processed by cutting on an angle to accentuate the grain patterns. You’ll see intricate designs emerge as these are turned – swirls, chevrons, arches and stripes. Take care and use sharp tools when machining or turning these 'hard,' diagonally cut exotics.

      Beautiful grain

The grain of the Burmese blackwood was striking!

      Real nice wood

The wood is really beautiful. Turns real nice. Only slight complaint is that each blank should be marked individually with the type of wood it is. It shows you the 4 types on the package, but for a beginner, I wasn't sure which was which.
