Glad I bought for My Jet 14" Band Saw
I bought my Jet 14 inch band saw new at Woodcraft about 8 - 10 years ago. I cut out the lower area and have a 4" fitting for my Dust collector which has helped with the dust, but the tires still get full of dust and grit. I bought new Jet replacement tires for my saw and decided now would the time to try and fit some brushes to keep the tires cleaner. My jet is older and does not have any provisions for brushes like the new ones do. I bought two "Cleansweep" brushes and managed to find a way to mount them. I wish I could post my photos here to show their placement. The upper one I used a small piece of red oak with one end screw screwed into the saw and then screwed the brush to the other end . The lower was much easier just screwing it to the saw. as shown in product info photo. (Both my brushes are screwed into the blade guard piece that you remove when changing blades) It is working great and keeping the tires much cleaner than before. My only complaints are I wish they would tell you what size drill bit to use, very difficult choosing the right size especially when screwing into metal. Also wish they would make the brush stiffer.

Works well
I've never used one before. It does a good job keeping the tire cleaner. Too bad my saw does not have a way to mount a second one for the other wheel.

A no-brainer
If your saw doesn't have a tire brush, install one. It will keep the sawdust and crud from building up on your tire, which legnthens the life. A no-brainer...

I would buy this product again and again
Easy tune up part to improve the over all performance of most bandsaws.

It's Worth the trouble
Had to relocate the upper brush to make it work properly.

Simple, but effective
I have a Jet 14" bandsaw. Bandsaws of this type are notorious for their lousy dust collection. After use, I usually cleaned the inside of the lower door area and while doing so, scraped the caked on sawdust from the band saw tire. On a whim. probably to get my order over a certain amount for free shipping, I added this little brush. I am amazed at how good a job this silly little thing does. In a nutshell, easy to install and quite effective.

The Carter brush is a nice addition to my HF 14 inch bandsaw. Easy to install and keeps the tire nice and clean.
