    Save your money

Way too many parts to assemble,12 in all and after all the bad press on these pens you would think the click assembly would have been modified and made simpler to avoid frustration. Complicated instructions and flimsy mechanisms. My clicker popped right out and broke. Brought it to Woodcraft and the tech there tried to repair it. Took him almost an hour to get it right along with using 3 of their own kits because the parts kept popping out and breaking. He finally got it right, how he had to put it together was different than the instructions. Buy the twist pen instead. These clickers are hideous. If they used the same deal as the Wall Street clickers it wouldnt be so bad.

    All show No go

Some reviews rant about how it looks and how well they sell. Thats as far as it goes. For an everyday writing untensil this pen is 100% impracticle. Click mechanism broke on mine even though I took my time and followed the instructions during assembly. Woodcraft took it back and exchanged it for another item of my choosing. That was cool. However, this particular pen is unbalanced, awkward, the metal smears and scratches easily, and tricky to assemble. As a desk ornament it will look good, other that, make a few, sell them and dont worry if it's actually usable if thats your thing.

    Cartridge Bullet Pen Kits Fail

This kit has twice as many parts and most of them don't fit or take twice the pressure to press them together. In half of the kits, I had to file the ring for the clip to fit. In both click sets I built, the clicker wouldn't pop out. I will never buy this series of pen kit again!

    Nice Pen, Horrible assembly

This is a nice pen and looks great, but the assembly is horrible. I have broken two of the plastic click mechanizms while pressing this pen together. The instructions need a special note to pay particular attention to the alignment of this part. Woodcraft has replaced both kits for me but my time and blanks were wasted.

    I love this pen kit.

The Instructions for this pen is vague on the assembly step. If you are not careful you can crush the plastic click piece when pressing the upper portion together. when installing M into the barrell assembly, Make sure the plastic piece seats inside Piece E that was pressed into the barrell G. If the plastic clicker assembly is not inside E and all the way centered it will crush when the clip assembly H is pressed into the barrell G. I already took this info to woodcraft and they are sending it to the manufacurer of the pen kits to have this note added to the instructions. I hope this helps if you have any questions please email me at alton_b[@]

    Does not work

I ruined 4 of the 5 that I purchased before the one and only good one. The pens were put together correctly but the click mechanism would not keep the pen out. I took to the pen club and they helped with others but still no good. There wasn't any instructions with this product. I went to the woodcraft web site and couldn't find any instructions either and now the pen is waste. The twist pens work great but I would stay clear of the click pen.

Great pen important info this review!

I think this pen kit is a great product. Just make sure when assembling the top of pen that the plastic mechinism has slid down into the threads of center collar "E" before you press "H,I, & J" into the top of tube "G" or you will almost certainly crush the mechinism as I did. I don't want it to happen to you!

Great product a must read review!

I feel this is a hot pen kit. Just make sure when assembling the top of the pen that the plastic mechinism has slid in the threads of center collar "E" before pressing "H,I & J" into the top of tube "G" or you will almost certainly crush the mechinism as I did. I don't want it to happen to anyone else!

    I would buy again.

First time with this pen kit. Took a little bit of study to acquaint with proper assembly sequence but really quite easy. Like all (or at least most) of the Woodcraft pen kits the instructions are easy to find on the internet. Easy to follow. When you pay attention to asssembly instructions goes together with little or no problems.

    No Quality/No Instructions

There wasn't any instructions with this product. I went to the woodcraft web site and couldn't find any instructions either. The plastic insert ended up breaking and now the pen is waste. The twist pens work great but I would stay clear of the click pen.
