Cam Action does not Hold Down

I bought a pair of these to add a stop to an aluminum extruded fence for my table saw. The cam action is very abrupt, meaning the pressure doesn't increase gradually. Really poorly designed, they may work better on softer materials but for aluminum these clamps are useless. You literally have to use excessive force to clamp tight and then it is very difficult to release them.

I WOULD BUY THIS ITEM AGAIN.

I use the quick release for my bike seat. This was the first time I was able to buy this type of release. Most bike companies do not sell this item. The size and length work fine to replace a nut and wrench set up.

    Great Design

This is a great little tool. My only problem is that I need more of them and am going to buy them. Great time saver on shop jigs and so easy to use. You must understand its limitations though. Not that they are bad it's just that you have to understand what it can and can't be used for.
