Designed to last a lifetime! Our 300 series stainless steel bottle stopper may be a little more expensive than the traditional chrome, but are well worth the extra expense. These stoppers are not plated, but are 100% solid stainless steel, so in addition to being corrosion resistant, they will not flake or pit. many advantages

The mini is a better buy than the large size. Very little of the steel shows above the rim of the bottle and it's half the price. Stainless steel is a much better choice than chrome. The mandrel base is larger than the stopper base because it matches the size of the large cone. To help out, I turn a small tenon on the mandrel side of the blank that is the same diameter as the base of the mini cone. I use an open end wrench to size it as the lathe is turning. This gives me a reference for the mini base. When I am done with the stopper I turn the tenon down as far as I can and then saw or carve off the left over. Be sure to add a little to the hole depth to account for this. Works like a charm.

    Its okay

Turning stoppers is new to me. I have been a bowl turner for several years but working with smaller goods is very nice and makes storage of wood so much easier. I like the fast , quick , instant gratification on bottle stopper turning. My local woodcraft in toledo seems to be always lacking in stock so I have been forced to purchasing items on line. I have always like to see, touch and feel the things that I wish to purchase. oh well..its a hobby right?

    Perfect Size

Been turning stoppers for awhile now and found the "mini" to be the perfect size for my projects. I have used other styles but they seemed too big when finished. Family, friends and sales have shown these to be the way to go

    Great Mini

After almost any sized turning, this little guy still has great balance. Being a mini I thought for sure i would have to trim down the size of the turning but i was completely wrong. Great stopper!!

    I love these SS cones

I have looked at stoppers from some of the other companies and find these to be far superior in quality. I also really like the smaller size.

    Love these stoppers

I have used these for gifts and to market with my pens, bowls and other projects. I have ordered some from some other companies and was not impressed with their quality. Woodcraft's was far superior.

    Some times smaller is better

We used the mini stopper for Christmas gifts. I find these to be reasonably priced while allowing you maintain a high quality product. I also like the size over the other larger bottle stoppers that tend to make the bottle look top heavy or prevent a large bottle from fitting under an upper kitchen cabinet.
