Woodcraft Draws Inspiration from Customers for New Pen Carry/Display Case
“Woodcraft customers’ feedback led to a redesign of our pen case,” product development manager Ben Bice said. “They asked for more flexibility, specifically the ability to lie flat. We took the customer suggestions and went above and beyond.”

Correction of other review
A previous review stated that the Woodcraft bolt-action pen used different bushings and a 10 mm tube, which is different from the bolt-action pens from other sources. This is NOT correct. They may have been comparing a standard bolt-action kit with a magnum kit which does use a 10 mm tube. I'm not sure what they were comparing, but the PSI bolt action pen kit sold by Woodcraft is identical to the PSI bolt action kits sold elsewhere. I have two kits in front of me, one from Woodcraft, and one from another retailer and they are identical in every way. They both use a 3/8" tube and exactly the same bushings. I have made many of these bolt-action pens over the past two years, and the quality of the Woodcraft kit that I purchased is at least as good as any that I have used in the past. I will be buying them from Woodcraft from now on.

I would repurchase However
If you purchased this item from PSI before DO NOT assume the bushings and drill are the same. PSI is 3/8 drill Found the kit from Woodcraft was 10mm. Found the nib assembly had a pressed in bushing that was crossed threaded.(I live round trip 160mi from store) Had to use bushings from ultra cigar to get close then used caliper to get correct diameter. Went to assemble bolt action found two scratches. Suggest you open the package and check everything before leaving the store. having made several from PSI I can recommend the pen. Just check all the specs from Woodcraft so you are not disappointed. No one at the store mentioned the difference when I purchased the kit.
