    Bolivian Coffee Wood (Caesalpinia Pluviosa) is a very dense and heavy species (will sink in water) with a specific gravity of 1.05. It has tight grain with colors that are mostly a coffee brown with a light yellow sapwood. Turns and machines well with sharp tools. Due to Bolivian Coffee Wood’s high density and natural oils, it takes a high polish.
