Jump into CNC carving with the Next Wave SHARK SD100 CNC Machine. This small format model packs the same punch as the larger units, which makes it a great value.
Create 3-D carvings or machined parts in a variety of mediums, including wood, soft metals, plastics and other solid surface materials. Simply design your carving in VCarve Desktop (included) or other design software and save it as a toolpath. Then, using the proprietary Ready2Control software (included), load and run the toolpath on the SHARK SD100.
This fully assembled unit only requires the addition of a palm router (sold separately) and router bracket, once you get it out of the box. Operation requires a laptop computer or pendant controller (sold separately).
The plug-and-play design of the SHARK SD100 means that it will accept any of Next Wave’s full line of accessories, including 2W laser, mini 4th axis or touch plate (all sold separately).
Includes SHARK SD100 CNC machine, V-groove bit, AB-USB cord, power supply, and VCarve Desktop software.
Requires PC computer with USB port and Bosch, DeWalt, Porter-Cable, or similar style palm router (not included).
Next Wave Automation is offering a Trade-in Program for the SHARK SD100 CNC Machine. When you’ve mastered CNC and want to upgrade to a larger unit, purchase the new, larger Next Wave SHARK CNC machine and send your SHARK SD100 and the receipt to Next Wave. They will then send you a check for the used machine and refurbish it for donation to school shops around the country. See full details under Instructions/MSDS to the right.Features:
