The two different edge shapes on these Arkansas Multiform Slipstones make them universal sharpeners. One edge is tapered from a 1/2" to 1/8" diameter to handle all the various curves found on tools. The second edge has a straight, angled taper which forms a knife edge for honing small and large V-parting tools. Stones measure approximately 4" x 2" with 1/2" to 1/8" tapers.

nice sharpening stone
I use the product oftenly to sharpen my chisels. I do woodcarving and it is really important to have a nice stone to sharpen all the different types of surfaces.
