7.3 oz - These Boat Builders' Hammers are used by boat builders. The tapered end sets nails below the surface of decking and planking to facilitate planing without damage to the plane. The tapered end and crowned face make these excellent plane adjusting hammers. The heads are hand-forged, best quality tool steel, carefully hand-finished and tempered for a lifetime of use. The 12" handles are Kashi (Japanese White Oak). Also available in 9oz and 12oz, 156841 and 156886.
