    Details

A Bent Tip Carving Knife is used by many indigenous people for carving a variety of items including totem poles and ritual masks. Our knife is made by a master blacksmith whose family has made woodworking tools for generations. Each knife is individually hand forged from a lamination of high carbon "white" steel and soft low carbon steel. After tempering, the blade is sharpened and polished to a razor like edge. To complete the tool, a Poplar wood hand is installed. Blade length is 5˝ and overall length is 18¼˝.
