Our 4¾˝ Deluxe Fret Saw (Sokomawashibiki nokogiri) is designed specifically for cutting 0.022˝ thick grooves for frets on the finger boards of guitars. It is also suitable for very small joinery work. To ensure a tear free cut, there are 27 teeth per inch teeth with no set. This saw is made by the Hishika Saw factory using traditional techniques which include hand tempering, hand correction of blade warping and hand adjusting of blade thickness. The blade is forged from white steel. Blade width is ¾˝, blade thickness is 0.022˝, blade length is 4¾˝, and overall length is 13½˝.
