Best sliding bevel I've used
Although this is a recent purchase, I've used it extensively on a project that is in the works. It works better then my older wooden gauge with the pinch lock wing nut. Can be used on either side.
Great product! I've been looking for something with a stronger lock-up than your traditional thumb locking mechanism. It locks rock solid. I didn't want to spend $100+ for some of the hand crafted models. At this price point, the performance is outstanding.
Copy angles? Make angles? No Problem!
Great product, made in Japan. A very reliable tool, I originally bought it for crown moulding use. Copy angle, Find total degree on my chop saw, and divide in half for a perfect fit every time. Yes it takes a touch more work but for a fraction of the cost of your typical protractor made for this use. Its great for making mutiple angles of the same degree as well. Plus with the screw set being at the end of it it makes for a quick tightening as well as it being out of the way.
