    Our 1" Laminated Blue Steel Right Handed Woodworking Knife is forge laminated by Mr. Ikeuchi, Master of Blacksmiths. Following in the time honored tradition, he hammer forges together soft low-carbon steel and "blue" high-carbon steel. Each blade is then individually tempered to Rockwell c63ø to guarantee a long lasting edge. The curved (or pistol grip) handle is hand hammered to create dimples for a better grip. The blade length is 7-1/4", and comes well sharpened . Sharpening instructions are included.
