This class is dedicated to the band saw. A great opportunity to ask any questions about band saws such as blades, guides, resawing or maintenance etc. This will be a hands-on class to construct your own band saw box and to increase your skills.
This seminar is devoted to machine cutting dovetails on the Porter Cable 4212 Jig. Learn all the ins and outs of this wonderful jig. Bit selection and proper techniques will be demonstrated. You will learn to set up and produce 4 different kinds of dovetails.
During this class, each participant will construct their own single stand-alone 20 X20 cabinet to take home when complete. The process will include making the carcass shell, face frame front, flat panel door and pull out drawer. Methods will include pocket hole joinery, drawer slides, door hinges. You will advance your skill in the table saw, miter saw, router, marking and measuring, as well as Kreg joinery.
