Previous lathe experience required. In this class students will make a shallow bowl with a decorative, cast lid using carbide hollowing tools. .
A hands-on tutorial to familiarize students to navigate and create a simple project in Google Sketch-Up. A laptop is required if students wish to have a hands-on experience. Woodcraft is unable to provide a computer. A Sketch-Up tutorial book is included in the class tuition.
The Mortise and Tenon is a foundational woodworking joint found in nearly all furniture on one form or another. In this class students will use a variety of power tools to create traditional mortise and tenons.
