Description: This is an Intensive 5 week class that is taught on consecutive Fridays and Saturdays over 5 week period, 9am to 5pm each day. This class will begin with milling and cutting the material for the rocking chair and will culminate with a finish build of a world renowned Sam Malouf inspired rocking chair. This chair is a very complex build but when broken down to smaller pieces and when guided by master craftsman Chad Jones you will truly walk away with an heirloom piece you will value for years. These chairs commonly sell for over $4000 and your investment will be $1500. While making this chair you will use every tool in a wood shop from a table saw to a hand scraper and everything in between. Your woodworking skills will be enhanced and you will proud of the product of your hands.
