After serving his country in the U.S. Navy, Dennis earned a Mechanical Engineering degree. He then spent 44 years working in the transportation industry before retiring in 2017. By the end of the same year, his lifelong hobby of woodworking led him to join Woodcraft. Through the years he has enjoyed working with wood in many projects, including turning hundreds of pens. He enjoys vintage machinery like his pride and joy, a 1947 Delta Unisaw.
