Previous experience is required* Unlock the beauty of Australian burls and transform them into stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces of art in this hands-on woodworking class. In this class, you’ll learn the process of casting Australian burls in resin, preserving their intricate grain patterns and unique features. Once your castings are set, you'll move on to the exciting step of turning them into elegant, small vases using a lathe. By the end of the class, you’ll have a finished piece you can be proud of, and the confidence to continue exploring the world of resin casting and wood turning. Basic Bowl Turning

Whether you're a beginner or someone wanting to brush up on your turning skills, this basic bowl turning class is for you! This class will cover shop safety and the proper use of a lathe by making a basic bowl from start to finish. To minimize drying times so that the student can finish their bowl in a reasonable amount of time, we will be using dried bowl blanks. We will also discuss various finishes to add some personalization to your bowl. Once finished, you will be able to enjoy your bowl for years to come. Note: This class utilizes Easy Wood Tools with carbide cutters. If you prefer classic High Speed Steel (HSS) tools, bring your own or inquire within when attending class.

Pizza Date Night - Cutting Board

Each class purchase is for 2 spots, a cutting board to make together and pizza/drinks. This date night class is a great way for you and your partner to learn how to make a cutting board. Each pair of students will get to choose a cutting board kit and then learn the tricks for a good glue up, how to use a router to clean up edges, how to get a smooth board using a drum sander/orbital sanders, what food safe finishes to use and will have the option of adding feet. Each pair of students will leave with a cutting board that they can cherish forever!

Epoxy River Serving Board

Make an eye-popping serving board with an epoxy poured center. Board will be approximately 15.7"x9.8"x1". Using molds, prepping wood, clamping and mixing for the pour are just a few things you will learn in this class. The second class will involve removing the mold, clean-up, sanding and finishing.
