This introduction class will highlight the relief method of hand carving. Topics will be on over-all techniques, pattern transfer, types of knives, cutting methods, holding practices, depth attention as well as sharpening and safety. You will work on a small hands-on project during the class.
This is a seminar- workshop on simple finishing methods for woodworkers. A variety of topics include gels stains, oil or water stains and topcoats, paints, dyes, wood restoration, exteriors, etc. We will share our best tips, advices, and informational handouts.
This class is dedicated to the band saw. A great opportunity to ask any questions about band saws such as blades, guides, resawing or maintenance etc. This will be a hands-on class to construct your own band saw box and to increase your skills.
