Epoxy River Style Charcuterie Board

Have you been wanting to learn how to use epoxy? Have you been wanting to make a river table but don’t know where to start? Or, are you a foodie that wants to up your serving game? If any of these fit you then you are looking in the right place. In this two-evening class you will be learning how to use epoxy, the importance of prep work when using epoxy, and having fun along the way. You will be making an 18” x 12” charcuterie board to take home and show off or give as a gift! It is okay if two people like husband/wife, parent/child, etc come to share the class! You will be using a table saw, planer, router table, and sanders to accomplish this task. We can’t wait to have you in this class and teach you what you want to learn about epoxy. (The wood choice is based on the instructor’s hardwood slab availability and you will have a huge variety of choice for epoxy color)

Turning A Twig Pot

In this class you will learn about the art of turning on a Lathe. You will learn about the various parts of the lathe, the different types of lathes and turning tools to use for various segments of your project as well as the various ways to mount your blanks to the lathe for different types of projects like pens, bowls, spindles, bottle stoppers, vessels, tops, and handles, we will talk about Lathe safety (Dust mask, eye and hear protection general lathe safety) After a brief discussion, you will mount a wood blank on the lathe, and begin turning your twig pot. You will also learn about sanding away your tool marks and applying a finish to complete your projects.
