Awesome Saw!!!!
Once I started using this saw, I never used a traditional saw again. These cut 10x faster, with less effort, and much more accurately. Super sharp, and VERY Thin Blade. The "big box" type saws are ok but this one outperforms them dramatically. I use those thicker bladed ones for rough cuts where I might hit a hidden nail. Changing the blade took literaly seconds to do.

weak teeth
Do not use in hardwoods. Teeth are very brittle and break easily in hardwood or plywood.

Cuts well but very brittle blade
Blade cuts aggressive and tracks to a very tight line. The problem is they induction harden teeth too hard and it cracks very easily when a slight bind occurs. Also sheath is made of cheap cardboard and doesn't holdup well so go to a stationary store and buy those paper edge insert to slide over blade edge.

Excellent and efficient saw
Very useful saw for the shop. If I were to make a criticism it would be that there isn't a folding version of this saw for storage and blade protection

Great Sawblade
The Dozuki "Z" saw is a favorite of mine in the shop where I make furniture & crafts of all kinds. It is quick & smooth cutting, gliding thru the wood like butter. It has a fine, thin edge, which is extremely sharp, leaving a smooth cut. Treat it like the fine instrument it is & keep the teeth away from metal such as screws (which is why I needed a replacement blade)

Happy (Dove) Tails
I use this blade primarily for cutting Dove Tails. This blade is very delicate. If handled roughly the teeth can break off rather easily. Also, the tip can bend easily as well. Otherwise, it creates a great thin curf and cuts quickly and smoothly. I really like the saw.

Put to hard use.
I was installing snap-together wood laminated floors. I needed to make cuts for the corners around the door moldings. I tried the jig saw, and it worked fine, but had some issues. Then I remembered my Japanese blade and put it to work. It worked like a charm, but it was very hard on the blade. I almost threw it away, then remembered that I bought it from Woodcraft, and they had replacement blades. I am ordering another blade for this wonderful little saw. I recommend to put it to a much gentler use. Those laminated floors are very hard on the teeth. I agree with the other comment that they are brittle in some uses.

sharp but brittle as expected
Blade is wonderful to use, but you have to treat it gently. It is brittle and the teeth will break. Break enough and it becomes unusable. Then again, this is both expected and why they sell replacements. It is my go-to joinery blade.
