      What the heck?

Why is there an assumption that a computer will eliminate the need for desk space? I am a professional computer programmer as well as a wood worker, and this desk has got to be the worst thing I've ever seen. If anything, one will need more room, not less for papers and extras that inevitably tag along with the computer. This looks like the kind of garbage they sell at discount stores. Bad design from the start and down hill from there.

      Worst mess I ever saw

This set of plans was the worst thing I ever used. I can hardly begin to describe the faults in this thing. The drawings were almost incomprehensible, there was NO BILL OF MATERIALS, except for a sheet of plywood and some screws, some pieces were indicated in the wrong quantities, some pieces were the wrong sizes, due to typos or whatever, the instructions were NOT instructive, some measurements did not jive when compared to the measurements on the drawings. Basically, I had to make this up as I went along, and improvise (a LOT) when necessary, which was almost all the time. I noticed this plan was from 1983, which isnt't really important, but apparently it has not been improved or corrected. I will NEVER order a U-Bild plan from you or anyone else again.
