Red Oak (Quercus rubra) has color ranges from light cream, pinkish-red to dark tan or golden brown. It is mostly straight-grained wood with a coarse texture that varies according to rate of growth. Machines with hand and power tools. Used for furniture, cabinetry, interior trim, flooring, veneer and turning.
