Morado’s color can be highly varied, ranging from reddish orange to dark violet/brown, darker black streaks are very common. Sapwood is pale yellow and is clearly demarcated. Grain is typically straight with a fine even texture. Wood polishes to a natural high luster. Morado machines, glues and finishes well. Some of the common uses for Morado include musical instruments, cabinetry, flooring and specialty wood objects.
