About This Product

Indian Laurel, often called Crocodile Bark for its textured surface, blends strength and elegance. Its fire resistance makes it both beautiful and practical. The heartwood shifts from light to dark brown with near-black streaks, while the sapwood carries a soft reddish-white hue. Straight grain dominates, though gentle interlocking patterns sometimes appear. The wood works easily, revealing a consistent texture and a calm, low sheen. It grows across Southeast Asia, most notably in India.
