Country Buffet and Hutch Woodworking Plan
Details
Build your own Country Buffet and Hutch as influenced by a Pennsylvania design dating to 1750. Using "H and L" hinges, hand made knobs and door latches, large dove-tails, and pegged mortise and tenon construction of the door frames, the style and era are exemplified. A perfect item for almost any room, but works exceptionally well in the kitchen. Make it in the wood of your choice to match your home and decor.
Upper hutch portion provides excellent display space for pewter, china, silver or books while the lower section is perfect for pots, pans, and other storage.
Two separate plans included. One for the lower buffet portion and one for the hutch above. Use them together or separately depending on the look you want to achieve.
Joinery is shown in actual size while curved workpieces are all in full size. You can measure and trace straight from the drawing. Includes A bill of materials which doubles as an exact cutting list, a detailed exploded diagram, and all hardware requirements. The exploded diagram is so detailed that project specific assembly instructions are not provided. A special booklet entitled Guide to Building Wood Furniture is also included and provides many tips explaining the "component theory" of woodworking.
