My favorite hand tools
I have enjoyed my Starrett combination squares and their attachments, for over 30 years. In that time I have used then for everything, including steel fabrication, precision moldmaking and finish carpentry. I also have the 85A & 85E Carpenters and Sheet Metal Workers Dividers and a number of different rules. Starrett are my most coveted tools and I will hand them down to my children someday.

Starrett delivers accuracy
I bought it to help with a project. My cheap, no name old one didn't seem to be as accurate as I thought it was. Starrett costs more, but it delivers on accuracy. No regrets on cost. Finally, a combi square I trust.

Starrett 12
This is what you would expect from Starret, the usual quality, and accuracy. The sliding scale can be set easily, the matt finish makes it very easy to read. If you are into projects, it's a must have tool.

Stop playing with toys and buy Starrett
Having a veteran machinist in the family, I am very familiar with the Starrett name. I am glad to see Starrett making a mark in the woodworking segment. There is nothing made that is more accurate than a Starrett tool. They are primarily used when thousands or ten thousands of an inch is a BIG deal. These tools are a little more expensive than most, but well worth it. If you want the utmost of precision when laying out cuts or aligning/adjusting your tools, Starrett is the way to go.

Excellent measuring tool
This is an excellent and easy to read acrurate measuring tool. I would recomend the Starrett line of tools to anyone wanting to do extremely accurate wood or metal work, or has trouble seeing fine lines on less expensive measuring tools.
