Starbond Epoxy Wood Putty Stick fills nail holes, cracks, chips, dents and broken edges in light-colored woods. The two-part epoxy mixes by hand, presses firmly into damaged areas and cures without shrinking or pulling away from the surrounding surface.
The Light Oak color blends with pine, maple, birch, ash and other pale wood tones. Shape the putty during its 3-6 minute working time, then sand, drill, or paint the repair in 20-30 minutes. The cured wood filler maintains the size and profile formed during application, helping repairs stay flush at the edges.
No measuring cups or mixing ratios are required. Cut or twist off the needed amount, knead until the material reaches a uniform color and apply it directly to a clean, prepared surface. The remaining epoxy wood putty stays protected in its resealable tube for future repairs.

Notes:
While some users recommend staining cured epoxy putty, it has been our experience that epoxy putty does not absorb wood stain the same way as natural wood. For best color matching, lighter-colored epoxy putties may be tinted with mica powders during mixing. After curing, paint or touch-up markers can be used to blend the repair with the surrounding surface.
ALWAYS test the cured putty and your chosen finish on a scrap piece or inconspicuous area before applying it to your project.
