Snake Scale Synthetic Fibre Board Knife Scales from WoodRiver® are an excellent choice for wet environment applications such as a hunting knife, machete, or kitchen knife. Synthetic fibre board-based material is made from cotton canvas that is layered and covered in phenol resin prior to being compressed and baked. This process produces a dense material that is very hard, durable, and water-resistant. During the shaping process the scale material will take on the appearance of snake scales.
