Sharpal® Buffing Compound uses fine chromium oxide abrasive to bring cutting edges and metal surfaces to a clean mirror finish. Supplied in solid wax bars, the compound applies easily to strops and buffing wheels without crumbling or excessive buildup.

The fine green compound polishes efficiently across a wide range of metals including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, cast iron and copper. It is commonly used as a final step after sharpening to refine the edge and reduce friction in use. The waxy consistency loads evenly onto leather, wood or synthetic strops as well as cloth and felt buffing wheels, giving consistent results without mess.

Each bar is sized for easy handling and storage, making it practical to keep at the bench or near sharpening stations. With two bars included, the pack supports long‑term use without frequent replacement.
