Design and build your own custom frame by incorporating drawers for storage of pieces or just adding a simple border. The 2" x 2" squares are adhered to a solid sheet of Mahogany veneer for added strength and stability. Veneer will need to be applied to a stable, flat substrate, such as Baltic Birch plywood – we recommend 1/2" (12 mm) or 3/4" (18 mm).
