Rubio® Monocoat Fumed is a tannin-reactive pretreatment that creates an authentic aged grey effect on high-tannin woods, especially oak. This user-friendly liquid works without toxic fumes, reacting with natural tannins to produce a unique grain contrast. Must be sealed afterwards with a Rubio oil to lock in both the look and durability.
