They can expand into a 95 mm to 117 mm (3-3/4" - 4-5/8") dovetailed recess, or clamp the outside of a turned dovetailed foot that is 84 mm to 104 mm (3-5/16" - 4-1/8") in diameter. You can finish the bottom of a bowl that’s up 10" in diameter by inserting the eight rubber stoppers into any of the eight diameter positions on the face of the collet plates.
